Why we offer complimentary consultations for our clients

One on one consultations are crucial for a variety of factors. For you, as a client, it allows you to come into the clinic and make an informed decision as to whether we are the right clinic for you. It also allows you to see that we adhere to high levels of Health and Safety Guidelines and allows you to meet the Mien Brows artists and get a ‘vibe’ of the clinic. Importantly it will enable you to determine if your artist is in tune with what you want to achieve in your procedure.

To see you for a consultation it also allows us as artists to meet you in person and to see if you are emotionally ready and are fully informed for the procedure. It helps us to visually look at any areas that you want to get treated, which gives us a better understanding and we can plan on how we can achieve the best results for you.

It is also very important to do your own research when it comes to choosing the right clinic and the right artist for your procedures, and always go with your gut instinct- this is your face! And this is not a wax…  A Cosmetic Tattoo is a semi-permanent procedure that can last up to 12 – 18 months.

Your consultation will also include testing pigment colours on your skin, giving you an idea of how we colour match our pigments to your skin type. We can also create a brow stencil for you, using our “string method,” allowing you to visually see where your brows will sit on your face to achieve balance and symmetry based on your bone structure.

We will show you before and after photos of various techniques that can be used to give you the best desired outcome. A thorough list of your medical history will also be included to identify if you are medically ok to go ahead with the procedure. In some cases we may ask written permission from your GP or Specialist or perform a Test Patch to eliminate allergic reactions if you are sensitive to make-up, jewellery or hair-dyes.

Our goal at Mien Brows is to provide you with a thorough understanding of the Cosmetic Tattoo process to make an informed decision if the procedure is suitable for you.
